Objective: To compare adverse neonatal outcomes between trial of vaginal delivery and upfront cesarean delivery for singleton infants born at 24 to 28 weeks of gestation.
Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study that was conducted at a university-affiliated tertiary medical center between 2011 and 2022, involving singleton pregnancies delivered between 24 and 27 weeks of gestation. Intraventricular haemorrhage (IVH) is bleeding within the ventricular system, which in adults is usually mainly secondary to cerebral haemorrhage and subarachnoid haemorrhage. Hydrocephalus is one of the most common complications of intraventricular haemorrhage, which is characterised by an increase in intracranial pressure due to an increased accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within the ventricular system, and is closely related to the patient's prognosis. Surgical methods such as shunt surgery have been used to treat secondary hydrocephalus in recent years and have been effective in improving the survival and prognosis of patients with hydrocephalus.

Objectives: Dilapan-S is a cervical ripening agent approved by the FDA that has been found to be just as effective as other agents and can be utilized for outpatient ripening. No large-scale studies have been conducted to compare cesarean delivery rates between Dilapan-S and other ripening methods. Our objective was to combine these trials to compare cesarean delivery rates for Dilapan-S with other cervical ripening methods, overall and in sub-groups.

Importance: Among preterm newborns undergoing resuscitation, delayed cord clamping for 60 seconds is associated with reduced mortality compared with early clamping. However, the effects of longer durations of cord clamping with respiratory support are unknown.
Objective: To determine whether resuscitating preterm newborns while keeping the placental circulation intact and clamping the cord after a long delay would improve outcomes compared with umbilical cord milking.
