The paper is concerned with the results of experimental dosimetric studies on an anthropomorphic phantom using thermoluminescent dosimetry at the site of the joining of large fields of complex shape simulating total irradiation of the lymphatic collectors. The studies demonstrated the appropriateness of the joining at a distance of 1 cm between the fields. In such a variant adequate irradiation of the lymphatic system was achieved whereas an increase in a distance between the fields resulted in a risk of recurrence in under-irradiated areas without a significant decrease in radiation dose exposure to healthy organs and tissues.

Lymph node metastasis significantly affects the NSCLC patients' staging, treatment strategy, and prognosis. Studies have shown that IGF2BP3, an oncofetal protein and an m6A reader, overexpresses and correlates to lymph node metastasis and worse overall survival in histopathological studies including NSCLC, but its mechanism needs further study. This study explored IGF2BP3's function and mechanism in LUAD lymphatic metastasis using public databases, a human LUAD tissue microarray, human LUAD cells, and a lymphatic metastasis model in male BALB/c nude mice.

Angiosarcoma is a rare and aggressive malignant tumor arising from vascular or lymphatic endothelial cells. Angiosarcoma at an arteriovenous fistula site is exceptionally rare. We report a case of a 37-year-old male renal transplant recipient who developed a high-grade epithelioid angiosarcoma at the site of an arteriovenous fistula six years post-transplant.

Background And Purpose: Radiation-induced hypothyroidism (RIHT) is a late complication of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). We evaluated thyroid protection in NPC patients receiving IMRT using modified delineation (MD) of cervical lymphatic drainage areas, sparing the common carotid artery within the clinical target volume (CTV), to assess its impact on thyroid function and survival outcomes.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients without metastatic lymph nodes at levels III and IV who received neck irradiation.

Purpose: To investigate and compare the feasibility, safety, and clinical outcomes of antegrade and retrograde laparoscopic bilateral inguinal lymphadenectomy for penile cancer.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 32 patients with penile cancer admitted between 2018 and 2022. Among them, 17 patients underwent antegrade laparoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy (ALIL group) and 15 underwent retrograde laparoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy (RLIL group).
