Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) typically presents with various bleeding manifestations such as epistaxis, gum bleeding, and gastrointestinal bleeding. However, spontaneous large muscle hematoma formation is a rare complication. This case report discusses a patient with DHF who developed bilateral psoas muscle hematomas, a very uncommon presentation.

Musicogenic epilepsy (ME) is characterized by seizures triggered by music. The epileptogenic focus in this rare reflex epilepsy is often in the temporal lobe, although the precise localization is still unclear. A correlation between ME and the presence of GAD65 antibodies indicates a potential immunological pathogenic mechanism.

Peri-mesencephalic subarachnoid haemorrhage (PMSAH) is considered to be a clinically benign subset of subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH). Cranial nerve palsies have been previously reported as rare sequelae of PMSAH. Herein, we report an unusual case of multiple cranial nerve palsies as a presenting feature of PMSAH and a review of the literature for cranial nerve palsies post-PMSAH.

Autoimmune enteropathy (AIE) is a rare cause of chronic diarrhea associated with autoantibodies and susceptibility to other autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, and atopic dermatitis. While it is more common in children, the prevalence of AIE in adults is increasing. Due to the nonspecific nature of its presenting symptoms and the lack of consistent findings, AIE can be challenging to diagnose.

This case reports a 44-year-old female who presented to the gynecologic oncology clinic status post robotic-assisted laparoscopic myomectomy with intraperitoneal unprotected power morcellation in 2012, with an incidental finding of three conglomerate solid masses in the abdomen above the uterus, with each mass measuring approximately 15.5 cm. The patient underwent an exploratory laparotomy where multiple masses greater than 10 cm were found scattered throughout the abdominal cavity.
