Introduction-Aim: Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) is a common complication in cirrhotic patients and is associated with a high mortality rate. The aim of this study is to determine the epidemiological and bacteriological profile of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, as well as antibiotic resistance among hospitalized patients at CHU Mohammed VI, in order to guide empirical antibiotic choices for better management. Background: In recent decades, relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) became more treatable through new disease-modifying therapies (DMTs). Identifying safe treatments with minimal fetal risks for family planning is needed.
Methods: In this prospective cohort from the German MS and Pregnancy Registry (DMSKW), we analyzed pregnancy and neonatal outcomes in MS-patients using descriptive statistics and logistic/linear regression models to compare DMT-exposed pregnancies to DMT-unexposed pregnancies.
Eruptive pseudoangiomatosis (EP) is a rare cutaneous condition that usually resolves spontaneously within a few days and is more frequently seen in the pediatric age group. Aseptic splenic abscesses are rare in the early phases of Crohn's disease and are typically reported in patients with longstanding illness or uncontrolled symptoms despite medical treatment. We present a case of recurrent aseptic splenic abscesses in a young man newly diagnosed with Crohn's disease, whose illness remained well-controlled. This unique case raises questions regarding the spontaneous resolution of aseptic splenic abscesses without steroid therapy and their recurrence without acute Crohn's disease flare-ups.

Background: To assess the integrity of the developing nervous system, the Prechtl general movement assessment (GMA) is recognized for its clinical value in diagnosing neurological impairments in early infancy. GMA has been increasingly augmented through machine learning approaches intending to scale-up its application, circumvent costs in the training of human assessors and further standardize classification of spontaneous motor patterns. Available deep learning tools, all of which are based on single sensor modalities, are however still considerably inferior to that of well-trained human assessors.
