Ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynecologic malignancy. The surface epithelial tumor is the most common type of ovarian cancer. Among these, the mucinous tumors account for 10-15% of ovarian tumors. Mucinous ovarian tumors are among the most difficult ovarian neoplasms for surgical pathologists to interpret. Mucinous tumors sometimes coexist with other surface epithelial tumors. Therefore, making the accurate diagnosis of the mucinous tumors is essential. On the other hand, association of Brenner tumors with other neoplasms is rare. Ovarian Brenner tumor has always been discussed by pathologists as an enigmatic tumor, because of its rarity and disputed histogenesis. Here, we reported a case of large mucinous cystadenoma with Brenner component.

Objective: To screen potential differentially expressed genes related to immune function in nasopharyngeal carcinoma through an online database, and to verify their mechanism of action, so as to provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the future.
Methods: Differentially expressed genes were analyzed from the GSE227541 dataset, and functional enrichment analysis was conducted. With mucin 5B, oligomeric mucus/gel-forming as the focus, the correlation between its expression and immune indexes was analyzed by using the TIMER database.

A 54-year-old woman was referred to our hospital because of abnormal colonoscopic findings, including a submucosal protuberance at the appendiceal root. A biopsy showed no malignant findings. Computed tomography revealed a 20-mm cystic lesion with thick walls at the appendiceal root, suggestive of an appendiceal mucocele.

They are uncommon findings, mainly seen arising from the head of the pancreas and their appearances may vary among different imaging modalities.
Case Report: Interesting case of an asymptomatic patient with an incidental finding of a pancreatic lesion and its variable appearances across different modalities and final histology findings.

Background: Encorafenib plus cetuximab (EC) is the standard of care for pre-treated mutated metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Depth of response (DpR) and early tumour shrinkage (ETS) previously showed a strong correlation with survival outcomes of first-line chemotherapy ± biological agents.
Objectives: We aimed to assess potential predictors of primary resistance to EC ± binimetinib (B) and relationships of DpR/ETS with survival outcomes and clinical characteristics.

Purpose: To reveal problems of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for diagnosing gastric-type mucin-positive (GMPLs) and gastric-type mucin-negative (GMNLs) cervical lesions.
Methods: We selected 172 patients suspected to have lobular endocervical glandular hyperplasia; their pelvic MR images were categorised into the training (n = 132) and validation (n = 40) groups. The images of the validation group were read twice by three pairs of six readers to reveal the accuracy, area under the curve (AUC), and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC).
