Background: Equipping parents with play skills can foster child development. This study examined the effects of Power of Play Parent Intervention, a short, online, asynchronous, play skill enhancement program, on the frequency of total parent-child play, parents' attitude towards play, and children's screen time in Thailand.
Methods: From September to December 2023, 112 parents of children aged 12-36 months from social media platforms were block-randomized into two-arm, parallel groups (56 intervention and 56 waitlist control).
Background: Eclampsia is among the primary causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality in Zanzibar. Many women and men are not aware of the signs, symptoms and causes of eclampsia and may have different explanatory models. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the community understanding of pre-eclampsia, as a key stage to improve maternal and perinatal health in Unguja Island, Zanzibar.

With climate change, the geographic distribution of some VBDs has expanded, highlighting the need for adaptation, and managing the risks associated with emergence in new areas. We conducted a questionnaire survey on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) about vector-borne diseases (VBDs) among sample of Finnish residents. The questions were scored and the level of KAP was determined based on scoring as poor, fair, good, or excellent.
