Transthoracic coronary Doppler echocardiography (TCDE) can be useful for the detection of chronic total occlusion (CTO) of the proximal left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) noninvasively, by detecting retrograde flow through the distal LAD or its septal branch. This intriguing case report details the detection of abnormal blood flow in the right ventricular free wall by TCDE. This detection of abnormal flow may be useful to predict CTO of the LAD, even in the absence of retrograde flow in the LAD and its septal branch.

Introduction: Transposition of the great arteries (TGA), especially with intact ventricular septum (TGA-IVS), presents unique challenges during fetal-to-neonatal transition, which can contribute to developing persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN).
Case Presentation: A male newborn with TGA-IVS, delivered via caesarean section, presented with hypoxemia and tachycardia immediately after birth (preductal SpO: 50-60%, post-ductal SpO: 70-75%). Echocardiography revealed a floppy interatrial septum and two interatrial connections with bidirectional shunting.
Background And Objective: Dysfunction of the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) is a common long-term complication following surgical repair in patients with congenital heart disease. Transcatheter pulmonary valve implantation (TPVI) offers a viable alternative to surgical pulmonary valve replacement (SPVR) for treating pulmonary regurgitation but not all RVOT anatomies are suitable for TPVI. To identify a suitable landing zone (LZ) for TPVI, three-dimensional multiphase (4D) computed tomography (CT) is used to evaluate the size, shape, and dynamic behavior of the RVOT throughout the cardiac cycle.
Background: Acute myocardial infarction-related cardiogenic shock (AMICS) is a severe complication associated with exceedingly high mortality rates. While mechanical circulatory support (MCS) has emerged as a potential intervention, the evidence base for independent MCS use remains weak. In contrast, systematic reviews of observational studies have revealed significant mortality reduction when a combination of MCS was used: VA-ECMO in conjunction with a left ventricular (LV) unloading device (Impella or IABP).
Objective: Aim: To assess changes of blood pressure and central hemodynamic in children with acute respiratory diseases.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: A total of 40 children aged 10-12 years with community acquired pneumonia and acute bronchitis in the period of early recovery were enrolled in the study with data comparing with control group of 30 healthy children. The hemodynamic parameters included blood pressure and calculation of systolic and minute blood output volumes.
Double-chambered right ventricle (DCRV) is a congenital heart disease. Most cases of DCRV are complicated by another congenital cardiac anomaly. Mostly, a ventricular septal defect (VSD) is the usual comorbidity.
