- first discovered in Shennongjia National Nature Reserve, Hubei Province, China - is described as a new species of Rosaceae. Compared to all known Chinese species, the new species differs by possessing jointed styles, imbricate petals and a reniform radical leaf terminal leaflet. Most significantly, the jointed style is curved at an obtuse or a right angle. In addition, the inclusion of this species within the genus was supported by phylogenetic analysis using the sequence data of a nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (nrITS) and a chloroplast intergenic spacer. The new species was found to be closely related to and .

Oxidative damage, oxidative inflammation, and a range of downstream diseases represent significant threats to human health. The application of natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents can help prevent and mitigate these associated diseases. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effectiveness of walnut green husk (WNGH) as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent in an in vitro setting.

Unlabelled: Bovine herpesvirus (BoHV) infection poses a significant threat to the healthy development of the cattle industry. BoHV-1 primarily causes infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, while BoHV-5 is associated with bovine necrotic meningoencephalitis. These two pathogens not only exhibit a high correlation in antigenicity and genetic background but, more importantly, can establish latent infections within the bovine ganglion.

Background: Infiltrative hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a therapeutic challenge due to its aggressive course and poor prognosis. Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) plus immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and molecular targeted therapies (MTTs) has shown early promise for advanced HCC, but its role in advanced infiltrative HCC is unclear. This study aims to investigate the efficacy and safety of HAIC combined with ICIs and MTTs in the treatment of advanced infiltrative HCC.

Unlabelled: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a chronic gastrointestinal disorder, often emerges during childhood and poses significant challenges due to its adverse effects on growth, development, and psychosocial well-being. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been implicated in the pathogenesis of diverse diseases. However, the specific biological role and mechanisms of circRNA OMA1 in children with IBD remain largely unexplored.
