Introduction: Large resections may be necessary in cytoreductive surgery for endometriosis, which present risk of urinary and bowel complications. . A 29-year-old woman underwent multidisciplinary laparoscopy for endometriosis in a private practice setting for acyclic pelvic pain and cyclic abdominal distension with changes in bowel habits and frequent sensation of incomplete defecation. After surgery, urodynamics remained normal and bowel function improved subjectively and objectively per dynamic magnetic resonance defecography (DMRD). The five-month follow-up found improvements in pain scores, bowel function, and health-related quality of life (assessed by the full versions of the Short Form 36 and Endometriosis Health Profile 30 scales). . Animus may contribute to the bowel symptoms in women with endometriosis. DMRD provides additional objective parameters for comparing pre- and postoperative functions.
Conclusion: A nerve-sparing segmental rectosigmoidectomy for endometriosis carefully executed by a multidisciplinary team can preserve the function of different pelvic organs.

Pancreatoduodenectomy and distal pancreatectomy are standard treatments for various pancreatic pathologies. These procedures involve radical resection and a significant loss of pancreatic tissue, which can lead to exocrine and/or endocrine pancreatic insufficiency. In selected cases of benign tumors or those with low malignant potential, central pancreatectomy can be performed with acceptable morbidity and mortality rates.

Background: Retroperitoneal abscesses caused by donor-derived Carbapenem-Resistant Klebsiella Pneumoniae (CRKP) infections are rare and often challenging to diagnose early due to a lack of specific symptoms.
Case Presentation: In case one, a 64-year-old male presented with unexplained fever and emaciation three months after undergoing a kidney transplant for end-stage renal disease. Metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing identified CRKP in peripheral blood samples, and CT scans confirmed a retroperitoneal abscess.

Lacrimal sac and nasolacrimal duct tumors are extremely rare, and most of them are malignant tumors, which are often misdiagnosed as chronic dacryocystitis. We herein report a rare case of a 29-year-old female, presented with a history of watering in the right eye associated with a rapidly progressive mass for 4 months near the medial canthus. Further clinical examination revealed firm, non-tender mass occupying the lacrimal sac fossa extending above the medial canthus.

We report complete remission of dural-based leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) in an 80-year-old female patient with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by osimertinib. She was diagnosed with NSCLC (adenocarcinoma, T4N3M1a) 8 years ago. Mutation analysis of biopsied tissue revealed exon 19 deletion positive, and gefitinib was prescribed.
