The pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) showed a significant impact on routine daily services in departments of otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery. The city of Wuhan, as the first reported epicenter in the world, resumed medical service since April 8, 2020. As the biggest ENT services provider in Wuhan, we share out institution's triage and screening system in the resuming period.

Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases can adversely affect the quality of sexual life and marital satisfaction for both patients and their spouses. The aim of the current study is to determine the effect of couple counseling based on the CHARMS model on sexual quality of life and marital satisfaction of wives of men suffering from myocardial infarction (MI).
Method: This two-group randomized clinical trial study with a parallel design was conducted in 2024 in Urmia, Iran.
Background: Cardiac arrest is a critical condition that can occur unexpectedly in prehospital settings. In rare instances, patients may experience a phenomenon known as autoresuscitation, or the Lazarus phenomenon, where spontaneous circulation resumes after resuscitation efforts have ceased.
Case Presentation: A 90-year-old woman suffered prehospital cardiac arrest.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of a novel retrograde ultrasound-guided A1 pulley release technique for the treatment of trigger thumb. We conducted a retrospective, single-center study of 42 patients who underwent ultrasound-guided A1 pulley release for clinically diagnosed trigger thumb between September 2022 and December 2023. All cases were graded according to the Green classification of trigger finger severity.

Rationale & Objective: Nearly half of kidney transplant recipients develop allograft failure within 10 years of transplantation and experience high mortality, significant symptom burden, and complex communication challenges. These patients may benefit from palliative care, but palliative care is infrequently provided in this population.
