The genus Haliday, 1833 is globally distributed, with 351 known species, of which 26 occur in China. Herein, an overview of the genus from Mount Jiulong, Zhejiang, China, is presented. Two new species are described and illustrated. and are distinguished from other species by the characters of the thorax and male genitalia. An updated key to the of China is presented.
