Objective: To report a case of gingival squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in an elderly patient mimicking a non-neoplastic proliferative lesion.
Background: Oral SCC is a well-recognised malignancy of the oral cavity that may mimic benign reactive proliferative processes.
Methods: An excisional biopsy was performed, and the diagnosis was gingival SCC.
Conclusion: It is essential that both the clinician and pathologist to be aware of such a presentation to allow for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Background: Interaction between mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) cells plays a major role in OSCC progression. However, little is known about adipogenic differentiation alteration in OSCC-derived MSCs (OSCC-MSCs) and how these alterations affect OSCC growth.
Methods: MSCs were successfully isolated and cultured from normal gingival tissue, OSCC peritumoral tissue, and OSCC tissue.

Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of posterior lateral perforator flap in lower limb combined with free fibula for maxillary tissue defect repair.
Methods: Between December 2018 and December 2023, 16 patients with the maxillary malignant tumors were admitted. There were 10 males and 6 females, with an average age of 64.
The Aim Of The Study: To study the expression of NOD receptors of immunotropic periodontal tissue cells in patients with aggressive periodontitis before and after complex treatment.
Materials And Methods: 15 patients aged 22 to 36 years with aggressive periodontitis were examined before and 21 days after the start of complex treatment. 15 patients with fibroids of the oral mucosa without signs of inflammation served as controls.

Objective: Titanium surface modifications improve osseointegration in dental and orthopedic implants. However, soft tissue cells can also reach the implant surface in immediate loading protocols. While previous research focused on osteogenic cells, the early response of soft tissue cells still needs to be better understood.
