Multidimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is based on a combination of well-established building blocks for polarization transfer. These blocks are used to design correlation experiments through one or a few chemical bonds or through space. Here, we introduce a building block that enables polarization transfer across all NMR-active nuclei in a coupled network of spins: isotropic mixing at zero and ultralow field (ZULF). Exploiting mixing under ZULF-NMR conditions, heteronuclear TOtal Correlation SpectroscopY (TOCSY) experiments were developed to highlight coupled spin networks. We demonstrate H-C and H-N correlations in ZULF-TOCSY spectra of labeled amino acids, which allow one to obtain cross-peaks among all heteronuclei belonging to the same coupled network, even when the direct interaction between them is negligible. We also demonstrate the potential of ZULF-TOCSY to analyze complex mixtures on a growth medium of isotope-labeled biomolecules. ZULF-TOCSY enables the quick identification of individual compounds in the mixture by their coupled spin networks. The ZULF-TOCSY method will lead to the development of a new toolbox of experiments to analyze complex mixtures by NMR.

Aim: Postoperative delirium (POD) is a common complication with significant adverse effects in elderly patients. Electroencephalography (EEG) provides a promising approach for predicting the risk of POD. This study aims to elucidate the correlation between intraoperative EEG spectrum and the incidence of POD in elderly patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.
White matter hyperintensities (WMH) of presumed vascular origin are a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based biomarker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). WMH are associated with cognitive decline and increased risk of stroke and dementia, and are commonly observed in aging, vascular cognitive impairment, and neurodegenerative diseases. The reliable and rapid measurement of WMH in large-scale multisite clinical studies with heterogeneous patient populations remains challenging, where the diversity of imaging characteristics across studies adds additional complexity to this task.
Motor symptom laterality is an important clinical feature of PD that not only manifests as lateral limb dysfunction but also affects the nonmotor symptoms and the prognosis in PD patients. Previous studies suggested that the compensatory mechanisms in the dominant hemisphere of the brain may be an underlying explanation. The corpus callosum (CC) is the largest fiber connecting the two hemispheres of the brain.

Objective: To assess the prevalence of depression, anxiety, insomnia, and somatic symptom disorder (SSD) in patients with benign and malignant sinonasal tumors.
Materials And Methods: Pretreatment patients with sinonasal tumors were prospectively recruited on the rhinology ward of a tertiary hospital from July 2021 to March 2022. The electronic questionnaire which contains the rhinological symptom scale, the 22-item Sinonasal Outcome Test (SNOT-22) Scale, the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), and the Patient Health Questionnaire-15 (PHQ-15) was filled out by patients at admission.
