Laboratory of Human Milk and Lactation Research, Department of Medical Biology, University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland.
Introduction: Donor human milk (DHM) is the first alternative if mother's own milk is unavailable or contraindicated. Much DHM research has focused on its nutritional, immunological and biochemical composition in response to various maternal variables, standard human milk banking procedures and storage protocols. The current systematic review protocol, however, aims to systematically gather and analyse existing data pertaining to the impact of these aforementioned factors on the clinical, health-related and developmental outcomes observed in infants fed with DHM.

Background: The Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) program uses the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), and the Work and Social Adjustment Scale (WSAS) as part of their unique outcome monitoring system. To reduce patient burden, this study explored whether abbreviated versions of these questionnaires can be used to derive relevant outcome statistics with minimal loss of information.
Methods: Using two samples (training; n = 1530, validation; n = 766), we examined whether existing short-forms, PHQ-4 and GAD-R3, would provide enough information to calculate relevant outcomes with near perfect agreement with the outcomes based on the original scales.

Background: With advancements in healthcare, traditional VTE risk assessment tools are increasingly insufficient to meet the demands of high-quality care, underscoring the need for innovative and specialized assessment methods.
Objective: Owing to the remarkable success of machine learning in supervised learning and disease prediction, our objective is to develop a reliable and efficient model for assessing VTE risk by leveraging the fundamental data and clinical characteristics of colorectal cancer patients within our medical facility.
Methods: Six commonly used machine learning algorithms were utilized in our study to predict the occurrence of VTE in patients with rectal cancer.
