Despite the acknowledged merits of precision oncology (PO) and its increasing global implementation, its full potential for advancing care and prevention remains unrealized. The benefits are currently accessible to only limited patient segments because of multifaceted barriers. Successful implementation hinges on various factors-scientific complexities not limited to technical, clinical, regulatory, economic, administrative, and health care policy-related challenges.

Background: Hospital Frailty Risk Score (HFRS) has recently been used to predict adverse health outcomes including length of stay (LOS) in hospital. LOS is an important indicator for patient quality of care, the measurement of hospital performance, efficiency and costs. Tools to predict LOS may enable earlier interventions in those identified at higher risk of a long stay.

The increasingly accumulated end-of-life batteries require high-efficiency regeneration technology for sustainable development. However, the existing recycling methods are highly restricted in a direct additive process due to the inconsistent content of alkaline ions within various spent materials and then failure to recover them together. Here, a subtractive process is introduced for the integrated regeneration of spent cathode materials, which successfully transforms the cathode materials with an unknown Na content to the desodiation phase together via water only.

We developed a Metacognitive Offloading Optimization Task (MOOT) whereby participants were instructed to score as many points as possible by accessing words from a presented list either by remembering them (worth 10 points each) or by offloading them (worth less than 10 points each). Results indicated that participants were sensitive to the value of the offloaded items such that when offloaded items carried a high value (e.g.
