Purpose: This study evaluates the Social Return on Investment (SROI) of implementing measures to prevent fragility fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis (OP) in Spain.
Methods: A group of 13 stakeholders identified necessary actions for improving refracture prevention and assessed the investment required from the Spanish National Health System (SNHS), considering direct, indirect, and intangible costs over a one-year period. Unitary costs were sourced from scientific literature and official data, and intangible costs were estimated through surveys on women's willingness to pay for better health-related quality of life.

Holistic nurses intentionally respond to the suffering of others with compassion. This article presents knowledge relevant to the Universal force of compassion from three knowledge sources: (a) neuroscience, (b) the chakra system by clairvoyants, and (c) nursing theorists Watson, Newman, and Smith. In the past two decades an increase in research on compassion has yielded information that has implications for fostering self-development, transformation, and healing.

Increase in energy demand is shaping both developed and developing countries globally. As a result, the endeavour to reduce carbon emissions also encompasses electrical energy storage systems to ensure environmentally friendly power production and distribution. Currently, the scientific community is actively exploring and developing new storage technologies for this purpose.

In this paper, we propose employing electron scattering to realize unitary quantum gates that are controlled by three qubits. Using Feynman's rules, we find an expression for the transition amplitude for scattering from an external electromagnetic source. In this context, the scattering amplitude is modeled as a unitary gate whose state can be regulated.

In this study, a moving single-station direct position determination (DPD) algorithm based on virtual interpolated arrays is proposed. Existing moving single-station algorithms face challenges such as the incomplete utilization of sparse array apertures and insufficient consideration of mixed circular and non-circular signals. To address these issues, we propose an enhanced gridless DPD algorithm, suitable for multiple mixed circular and non-circular sources.
