Unlabelled: To evaluate the effect of vasopressin infusion in refractory neonatal shock.

Method: This was a cohort study involving retrospective review of medical records of all neonates who received intravenous vasopressin infusion for at least 6 h for treatment of refractory shock in a level 3B neonatal intensive care unit of northern India between Jan 2016 to May 2021. Outcome measures assessed were systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure, heart rate, urine output, serum sodium level, inotrope score, and oxygenation index at 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h of vasopressin therapy.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disabling psychological disorder characterized by chronic symptoms of intrusiveness, avoidance, and hyperarousal after a traumatic event. Retrospective studies have indicated PTSD increases the risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) including arrhythmia, hypertension, and myocardial infarction. The goal of this study was to: 1) use a murine model of cued fear conditioning (inescapable foot shock, IFS) to develop a scoring method to distinguish a PTSD-like phenotype, and 2) use this model system to characterize the cardiac phenotype and function in mice with extreme PTSD-like behaviors.

Objective: To assess the effectiveness of aerobic exercise combined with systematic nursing care on the psychological well-being and pregnancy outcomes of patients with gestational hypertension.

Methods: A study was conducted on 200 patients with gestational hypertension treated from May 2023 to May 2024. Patients were assigned to an observation group (n=110), which received aerobic exercise and systematic nursing care, or a control group (n=90), which received standard care.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of patients with severe trauma who underwent emergency transfusion in the hospital's emergency department from April 2023 to March 2024. Changes in blood biochemical indexes and vital signs before and after transfusion were compared, and adverse transfusion reactions were monitored.
