Unlabelled: Fontan procedure, in which systemic circulation is redirected into pulmonary circulation by a baffle, is a palliative surgical strategy for patients born with single ventricle congenital heart disease. Hemodynamic changes secondary to Fontan procedure, also termed as Fontan physiology, result in end-organ damage, especially of the liver. Fontan-associated liver disease (FALD) represents a spectrum of pathologies ranging from mild liver fibrosis to advanced liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Hepatic nodules, some of which have been documented as HCC in several case series and reports, are a recognized complicated feature of FALD. Herein, we report a case with benign hepatic nodules mimicking HCC by imaging characteristics, emphasizing the fact that arterially enhancing lesions with delayed washout appearance may reflect benign regenerative or focal nodular hyperplasia-like nodules in patients with Fontan physiology.

Background: A right adrenal gland may present in the form of adreno-hepatic fusion (AHF), in which the adrenal cells are interspersed among the hepatocytes without septation. This rare, naturally-occurring phenomenon may be associated with preoperative misdiagnosis. We present two cases of adrenal tumor in patients with AHF that were misdiagnosed, despite thorough preoperative work-ups.

Background: The liver is the most common site of digestive system tumor metastasis, but not all liver metastases can be traced back to the primary lesions. Although it is unusual, syphilis can impact the liver, manifesting as syphilitic hepatitis with inflammatory nodules, which might be misdiagnosed as metastasis.
Case Summary: This case report involves a 46-year-old female who developed right upper abdominal pain and intermittent low fever that persisted for more than three months.

In renal vasculitis, luminal narrowing can reduce blood flow and activate the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, causing renovascular hypertension. We present the case of a 47-year-old man with previous intestinal tuberculosis and episodes of lumbar pain, tender erythematous nodules and arthralgias. He had grade 3 hypertension, unresponsive to treatment, with left ventricular concentric hypertrophy and chronic kidney disease.

Fascioliasis is a zoonotic disease that may affect humans as incidental hosts after the ingestion of contaminated water or aquatic plants. Despite the non-specificity of its signs and symptoms, a triad of abdominal pain, fever, and peripheral eosinophilia should increase suspicion. The diagnosis of fascioliasis can be particularly difficult in non-endemic countries.

While their preoperative diagnosis remains challenging due to the lack of specific diagnostic markers and imaging findings, there have been no detailed reports describing the diagnostic utility of various imaging modalities for bile duct NETs at the junction of the cystic and common hepatic ducts. We report a case of a woman in her 40s who presented with jaundice and elevated hepatobiliary enzymes.
