Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) chilblains is a well-reported cutaneous pattern of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). Through this narrative review, we provide an evidence-based overview of idiopathic and secondary chilblains, distinguishing features of COVID-19 chilblains, and a systematic clinical approach to history, examination, investigations, and treatment. In the absence of cold or damp exposure, COVID-19 should be considered as a cause of acute chilblains. The timing of onset of COVID-19 chilblains relative to active SARS-CoV-2 viremia remains unclear. Patients with suspected COVID-19 chilblains should thus follow public health guidelines for COVID-19 testing and self-isolation.

Objective: To evaluate background incidence rates of 59 health outcomes of interest (HOI) in a diverse population, including important subpopulations, during the pre-COVID-19 era (1 January 2017-31 December 2019) and the COVID-19 era (1 March 2020-31 December 2020), before the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines.
Design: Observational retrospective cohort study. Annual incidence rates and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of HOIs were estimated for each population of interest, stratified by: age, sex, age and sex and seasonality.

This case series describes the clinical course and reconstructive methods utilized for patients with diabetes and significant gangrene and necrosis following coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. COVID-19 produces mainly respiratory symptoms but has a variety of atypical presentations and sequelae. Serious complications are increased in patients with underlying medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused a global calamity that forced emergency use authorization to Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 (BNT162b2) vaccine. It is efficacious in preventing symptomatic severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in seronegative recipients. The safety profile is still unclear; however, commonly reported symptoms post-vaccination are fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chills, and injection-site pain.
