Background: Immunization is pivotal for health-related sustainable development, necessitating resilient and sustainable immunization systems. This scoping review explores challenges and strategies for sustained vaccine uptake in the new Decade of Vaccines (2021-2030) within sub-Saharan Africa, encompassing routine and non-routine vaccines.
Methods: The review followed the Joanna Briggs Institute's methodology to examine English-language articles published from January 01, 2021, to May 29, 2023.
As a result of the "publish or perish" environment for biomedical journal authors, as well as new developments in open access publication models ("pay to publish") and rapid improvements in artificial intelligence large language models (like ChatGPT), troubling trends and a propensity for ethical violations now exists. Credit is commonly being taken for authorship by those who fail to meet authorial criteria, which is unethical. Experienced co-authors are providing inadequate diligence in drafting, critical review, and final approval of submitted articles, which is unethical, or at the very least, careless.

Background: IDyOM (Information Dynamics of Music) is the statistical model of music the most used in the community of neuroscience of music. It has been shown to allow for significant correlations with EEG (Marion, 2021), ECoG (Di Liberto, 2020) and fMRI (Cheung, 2019) recordings of human music listening. The language used for IDyOM -Lisp- is not very familiar to the neuroscience community and makes this model hard to use and more importantly to modify.

A frequent challenge when using graphical models in practice is that the sample size is limited relative to the number of parameters. They also become hard to interpret when the number of variables p gets large. We consider applications where one has external data, in the form of networks between variables, that can improve inference and help interpret the fitted model.
