Introduction: Madagascar has adopted strategies to fight against maternal malnutrition, but the evaluation of their implementation is not effective.Purpose of research: The present study aims to describe beneficiary appreciation of interventions to fight maternal malnutrition and to identify their expectations.
Method: A qualitative study was conducted in the Amoron’i Mania region, Madagascar. The study included mothers of children under 5, pregnant women, and other family members and community members (fathers, grandmothers, matrons and community workers). Six focus groups and 16 individual interviews were conducted to collect the data. The thematic analysis was used.
Results: Food supplementation, improved production of agriculture and livestock, and nutrition education, operated by NGOs, are the best-known interventions. The health centers were not mentioned as interveners and their interventions were ignored. The effectiveness of the intervention is generally judged on the benefits perceived by the beneficiaries. Interveners working on a project basis were assessed as unsustainable. Two main problems were mentioned: first, the insufficiency of agricultural production resulting in the inaccessibility of the ingredients required for the nutrition education, and second the low coverage of the interventions. The improvement of agricultural production is the main suggestion mentioned to fight against maternal undernutrition.
Conclusions: Beneficiaries thought that existing interventions in the region are insufficient to address the problem of malnutrition among mothers.

Notably, poultry animals-particularly chickens-are recognized globally for their valuable contributions to the food, ornamental, and game economies. Further, more robust local and regional breeds can be parental donors for these area-specific consumable breeds' resilient traits. Game birds that are locally significant economically or on a much smaller scale are frequently excluded from the procedure.

The Republic of Chad has one of the highest rates of maternal mortality in the world. With scarce resources to respond to competing demands, pragmatic evidence-based planning tools are needed to aid planning and support priority setting. This action research aimed to develop a tool to support maternal health (MH) planning and prioritization decisions and identify priority regions/provinces for intervention in Chad based on aggregate MH coverage gap scores (Target-Coverage=Coverage Gap).

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Dendrobium (commonly known as Shihu in China), a traditional Chinese medicinal herb recognized in the Pharmacopoeia of China (2020 edition), boasts a rich history of medicinal application. Extensive research has been conducted on its Chinese medicinal prescription due to its demonstrated anti-tumour effects in clinical settings. Dendrobium is comprised of a diverse range of chemical compounds, notably the Bibenzyls, Erianin, and Gigantol, which have exhibited significant inhibitory and therapeutic effects on cervical cancer, thereby suggesting potential therapeutic value.

Objective: This study investigated the associations between aggression subtypes (reactive, proactive, relational, and slow dissipation of aggression), callous-unemotional traits (CU), irritability (IRR), and sex among children.
Method: The sample included 508 children 5 to 12 years of age, rated by their mothers.
Results: A 4-factor model of aggression subtypes (reactive, proactive, relational, slow dissipation) provided a good fit to the data.
