Mentoring occurs every day in the workplace, as experienced employees (mentors) help guide inexperienced ones (protégés) toward a common goal. Both the mentor and protégé possess hallmark characteristics that contribute to a successful mentorship. The typology of mentoring includes formal versus informal, as well as group, one-on-one, peer, remote, and invisible mentors. The benefits of these mentorships can impact students, inexperienced employees, health care institutions, education institutions, patient care, and the mentors themselves. Finally, there are recommendations for fostering mentoring for educators and managers.

The unprecedented availability of increasingly complex, voluminous, and multi-dimensional data as well as the emergence of data science as an evolving field provide ideal opportunities to address the multi-faceted public health challenges faced by low and middle income countries (LMIC), especially those in sub-Saharan Africa. However, there is a severe lack of well-trained data scientists and home-grown educational programs to enable context-specific training. The lack of human capacity and resources for public health data analysis as well as the dire need to use modern technology for better understanding and possible intervention cannot be dealt with currently available educational programs and computing infrastructure, demanding a great deal of collaboration and investments within Africa and with the Global North This paper describes processes undertaken to establish sustainable research training programs and to train a new generation of data scientists with knowledge, mentoring, professional skills, and research immersion.

Conventional Phase I trial designs assign a single dose to each patient, necessitating a minimum number of patients per dose to reliably identify the maximum tolerated dose (MTD). However, in many clinical trials, such as those involving pediatric patients or patients with rare cancers, recruiting an adequate number of patients can pose challenges, limiting the applicability of standard trial designs. To address this challenge, we propose a new Phase I dose-finding design, denoted as IP-CRM, that integrates intra-patient dose escalation with the continual reassessment method (CRM).

Aim: To demonstrate how workshop and mentoring across a network of radiotherapy centers helped in transitioning from point A to volume-based image guided brachytherapy in carcinoma cervix.
Materials And Methods: Based on discussion with different centers across the network, the lapses in cervical cancer treatment were identified and a workshop was designed to change the practice pattern. The main focus of the workshop was to streamline EBRT dose prescription protocols and implement volume based image guided brachytherapy through mentoring and hands on training.

Introduction: Physician Assistant/Associate (PA) clinicians face a major learning curve when transitioning from patient provider to PA educator. Furthermore, PA educators juggle multiple responsibilities including teaching, grading, advising, mentoring, interviewing, researching, writing, and more. Recently published research has indicated that 52.
