Objective: To investigate the postoperative hemodynamics changes and their influence factors in the donors after right lobe living donor liver transplantation.
Methods: A total of 53 consecutive living donors from Dec 2010 to Aug 2015 who underwent donor right lobe hepatectomy were retrospectively analyzed. We measured residual liver hemodynamics with color doppler ultrasound, detected liver stiffness by transient elastography, also analyzed postoperative liver function, hemodynamics, and the long term variation tendency of hepatocirrhosis and spleen.
Results: One week after operation, transient liver damage was observed. Post-operative hemodynamics within the follow-up time showed:portal vein diameter was gradually increasing, the velocity decreased gradually;Hepatic vein diameter increased, and the velocity decreased gradually. There was a negative correlation between portal vein diameter and portal vein velocity (=0.012, =-3.11). Liver stiffness ( value) decreased gradually with time, while spleen volume gradually increased. Correlation analysis showed that postoperative liver stiffness ( value) was negatively related to portal vein diameter (=0.013, =-0.338) and positively related to hepatic venous velocity (=0.038,=0.246).
Conclusions: The donor presented a transient liver injury after operation, but tended to be recovery after one week. Despite post-operative hemodynamic undergo a series of changes, but it does not affect the post-operative long-term donor safety.

Objective: The objective of this study is to assess the feasibility of endovascular coiling combined with tissue glue embolism for the treatment of iliac arteriovenous fistula (AVF) secondary to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower extremities. In addition, we aim to summarize the treatment methods and enhance understanding of the disease.
Methods: This research analyzes the clinical data and medical imaging materials of 20 cases with iliac AVF secondary to lower extremity DVT, ranging from December 2014 to December 2020, at our hospital.

Background: The variety of shocks in neonates, if not recognized and treated immediately, is a major cause for fatality. The use of echocardiography may improve assessment and treatment, but its reference values across gestational age (GA) and birth weight (BW) are lacking. To address the information gap, this study aimed at correlating GA and BW of newborns with nonhemodynamic abnormalities, and at evaluating the usefulness of such reference values in neonates with early onset septic (EOS) -shock.

Hemodynamic processes from the portal vein(PV) to the inferior vena cava(IVC) were mimicked for three patients with portal hypertension(PH) and the effects of stent parameters on the outcomes of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS) were investigated through computational fluid dynamics(CFD). The liver region was simulated with porous media model and the spatial distributions of superior mesenteric vein(SMV) and splenic vein(SV) blood were solved through the Eulerian multiphase model. The present method is able to simulate the PH flow and predict the PV pressure, the stent shunt rate and the SMV blood proportion after TIPS treatment.

Background: External jugular vein (EJV) is used to insert tunneled dialysis catheter (TDC) in patients with no AVF and exhausted right internal jugular veins (IJV). There is scarce data on TDC insertion in EJV by nephrologists with fluoroscopy guidance.
Materials And Methods: This was a prospective observational study that included hemodialysis patients with exhausted right IJV access who underwent EJV TDC insertion, and excluded occluded ipsilateral brachiocephalic vein or superior vena cava, EJV < 5 mm diameter, or patients with existing EJV TDC.
Purpose: To explore the anatomical features of left iliac vein (LIV) in non-thrombotic venous leg ulcers (VLUs) and to identify the impact of these anatomical features on VLUs based on computed tomography venography (CTV).
Methods: This is a retrospective, single-center study of a database (2021-2023) of 431 patients with non-thrombotic chronic venous insufficiency. According to CEAP clinical (C) classifications, cases of C6 and C2 were included for analysis as case and control groups.
