Background: Learning environment has been described as crucial in determining the success of medical and dental education. Continuous evaluation of this environment will help in maximizing the learning opportunities of the training program.
Objective: To assess the resident doctors' perception of their learning environment at a teaching hospital in Nigeria.
Methods: The DREEM questionnaire was administered to participants undergoing residency training in the faculty of Dental Surgery at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
Results: Thirty-nine resident doctors participated in the study (23 Males, 16 Females), mean age (±SD) was 35.7 (±4.22) ranging from 28 years to 46 years. Mean global score (±SD) was 105.3 (±26.8), 52.7%, out of a maximum of 200. The mean global score according to gender was significantly higher among males than females. The overall perception of the training environment by residents is more positive than negative and the male gender appears to have a more positive perception than the female gender. However, this perception is borderline as the environment was perceived as having many problems and residents' perception of their learning environment is mostly negative. Attention of the institution and trainers should be drawn to possibilities of combating the problem areas for better outcome of residency training in our environment.

Background: Learning health systems (LHS) have the potential to use health data in real time through rapid and continuous cycles of data interrogation, implementing insights to practice, feedback, and practice change. However, there is a lack of an appropriately skilled interprofessional informatics workforce that can leverage knowledge to design innovative solutions. Therefore, there is a need to develop tailored professional development training in digital health, to foster skilled interprofessional learning communities in the health care workforce in Australia.

Digital health and learning have expanded significantly in recent decades though their use in settings of acute health emergencies has only recently begun. Growing experience among organizations working in the digital health and learning space suggest that virtual communities of practice in these areas may have value in response to health emergencies. Evaluation of recent virtual programs applied in acute health emergencies suggest that a pre-established digital learning network can serve as a valuable resource when an acute health emergency strikes.

is a pedagogical technique that replicates real-world scenarios in a controlled environment, enabling nursing students to engage in the teaching-learning process actively. While simulated practice is a growing pedagogical strategy, several studies have examined its strengths and limitations. However, evidence of its effectiveness in developing clinical reasoning skills among nursing students still needs to be improved.

The rising global demand for air conditioning systems, driven by increasing temperatures and urbanization, has led to higher energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. HVAC systems, particularly AC, account for nearly half of building energy use, highlighting the need for efficient cooling solutions. Passive cooling, especially radiative cooling, offers potential to reduce cooling loads and improve energy efficiency.
