Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) has a significant impact on health and quality of life. The relationship of AF burden and temporal patterns of AF on patient symptoms, outcomes, and healthcare utilization is unknown. Insertable cardiac monitors (ICMs) are a strategic and as yet untapped, tool to investigate these relationships.

Background: Carbosulfan residues in environment is very harmful to human health. The rapid and high sensitive detection of carbosulfan residues is particularly important to guarantee human health and safety. The conventional chromatographic techniques and enzyme inhibition strategies cannot realize on-site and visual detection of carbosulfan.

Chemically-synthesized Nanozymes that are widely used as alternatives to enzymes face challenges such as high precursor costs, complex preparation processes, and limited catalytic efficiency. To overcome these drawbacks, we introduce naturally derived nanozymes, nanomineralzymes, as a promising alternative, offering benefits like affordability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Chalcopyrite (CP, CuFeS) was sourced from a mineral deposit, and CP nanoparticles were produced by milling.

Background: Recent technological advances have introduced novel methods for measuring body composition, each with unique benefits and limitations. The choice of method often depends on the trade-offs between accuracy, cost, participant burden, and the ability to measure specific body composition compartments.

Objective: To review the considerations of cost, accuracy, portability, and participant burden in reference and emerging body composition assessment methods, and to evaluate their clinical applicability.
