The feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) is a highly contagious virus that affects cats worldwide, characterized by leukopenia, high temperature and diarrhea. Recently, the continuous prevalence and variation of FPV have attracted widespread concern. The aim of this study was to investigate the isolation, genetic evolution, molecular characterization and epidemiological analysis of FPV strains among cats and dogs in China from 2019 to 2024.

Seaweed-derived compounds are a renewable resource utilised in the manufacturing and food industry. This study focuses on an enriched seaweed extract (ESE) isolated from The ESE was screened for antiviral activity by plaque reduction assays against influenza A/Puerto Rico/8/1934 H1N1 (PR8), A/X-31 H3N2 (X31) and A/England/195/2009 H1N1 (Eng195), resulting in the complete inhibition of infection. Time of addition assays and FACS analysis were used to help determine the modes of action.

Background/objectives: Full immunization coverage in Pakistan remains suboptimal at 66%. An in-depth assessment is needed to understand the long-term trends in immunization and identify the extent of defaulters and associated risk factors of them being left uncovered by the immunization system.
Methods: We conducted a 5-year analysis using the Government's Provincial Electronic Immunization Registry data for the 2018-2023 birth cohorts in Sindh province.

Monitoring immunization inequalities is crucial for achieving equity in vaccine coverage. Summary measures of health inequality provide a single numerical expression of immunization inequality. However, the impact of different summary measures on conclusions about immunization inequalities has not been thoroughly studied.

Several approaches have been developed to generate synthetic object points using real LiDAR point cloud data for advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) applications. The synthetic object points generated from a scene (both the near and distant objects) are essential for several ADAS tasks. However, generating points from distant objects using sparse LiDAR data with precision is still a challenging task.
