Through in-depth excavation and analysis of the pricking blood therapy mentioned in , it is found that -'s pricking blood theory is mainly derived from . Innovative development has been carried out on the basis of "brave innovation and careful verification", and at the same time, it has been practiced and summarized clinically to form its own unique pricking blood therapy. This article systematically summarizes formation of the theory, clinical application, characteristics, and influence on later generations of pricking blood therapy in , with a view to inspiring scholars to have a more comprehensive understanding on the pricking blood therapy in , and providing new ideas and reference for clinical application.

Background: Studies on the accuracy of point-of-care (POC) testing using capillary samples are scarce. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the analytical accuracy of POC testing for white blood cell (WBC) and C-reactive protein (CRP) using capillary samples compared with conventional central laboratory testing using venous samples in a pediatric ambulatory care setting.
Methods: This was a retrospective study including patients younger than 18 years who underwent concurrent WBC and CRP evaluations via capillary and subsequent venous sampling within a 2-h window.

This study aimed to develop tuber bread from purple sweet potato and bambara beans with high satiety and low glycemic index (GI). Different ratios of purple sweet potato to bambara bean were used: 100:0 (F0), 80:20 (F1), 60:40 (F2), and 40:60 (F3). The satiety index (SI) was determined by assessing the consumption of a 240 kcal isocaloric food and collecting data through a visual analog scale.

Background: Peanut allergy (PA) is one of the most prevalent food allergies with a lack of favorable safety/efficacy treatment. A cucumber mosaic virus-like particle expressing peanut allergen component Ara h 2 (VLP Peanut) has been developed as a novel therapeutic approach for PA.
Objective: We assessed the tolerogenic properties and reactivity of VLP Peanut.

Background: Sesame allergy (SA) is a growing concern because of its association with severe reactions and the limited knowledge of long-term outcomes.
Objective: This retrospective study aimed to identify the risk factors influencing persistent SA (PSA) in children to improve management and select suitable candidates for oral immunotherapy (OIT).
Methods: We analyzed the electronic medical records of 84 children with confirmed SA, as defined by consistent clinical reactions and immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated sensitization.

Accurate and continuous blood glucose monitoring is essential for effective diabetes management, yet traditional finger pricking methods are often inconvenient and painful. To address this issue, photoplethysmography (PPG) presents a promising non-invasive alternative for estimating blood glucose levels. In this study, we propose an innovative 1-second signal segmentation method and evaluate the performance of three advanced deep learning models using a novel dataset to estimate blood glucose levels from PPG signals.
