is a gram-negative rod-shape bacterium from the family of that can cause a wide range of human disease such as enteric fever, gastroenteritis and bacteremia. Here we sequenced two genomes of bacteria isolated from the host. Genomic DNA of the two isolates were extracted and subjected to whole genome sequencing using Illumina platform. The draft genome size of the two isolates was determined to be 4,902,295 bp (S18) and 4,847,310 bp (S20) respectively. The percentage of GC content for both draft genomes is the same which is 52.1%. Both the whole genome shotgun project (S18 and S20) has been deposited in National Center for Biotechnology Information Sequence Read Archive under the accession number of SRR7503041 (S18) and SRR7503040 (S20). The sequenced genome (S18 and S20) were aligned with the reference genome and three other Salmonella genomes from serogroup B, D and E. The data obtained show the presence of unique DNA sequences in S18 and S20 genomes. This unique DNA sequences are from the fimbrial gene group.

Phenols are very soluble in water; as a result, they can pollute a massive volume of fresh water, wastewater, groundwater, oceans, and soil, negatively affecting plant germination and animal and human health. For the detoxification and bioremediation of phenol in wastewater, phenol biodegradation using novel bacteria isolated from sewage sludge was investigated. Twenty samples from sewage sludge (SS) were collected, and bacteria in SS contents were cultured in the mineral salt agar (MSA) containing phenol (500 mg/L).

Four bacterial strains (LJ126/S18 and Z-34/S20) recovered from faecal samples of Tibetan antelopes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China were analysed using a polyphasic approach. All four isolates were aerobic, short rod-shaped, non-motile, Gram-stain-positive, acid-fast and fast-growing. Phylogenetic analyses based upon 16S rRNA and whole-genome sequences showed that the two pair of strains formed two distinct branches within the evolutionary radiation of the genus .

Brain morphology is altered in both anorexia nervosa and obesity. However, it is yet unclear if the relationship between Body Mass Index-Standard Deviation Score (BMI-SDS) and brain morphology exists across the BMI-SDS spectrum, or is present only in the extremes. The study involved 3160 9-to-11 year-old children (50.

Salted and ripened fish foods are susceptible to cause histamine poisoning. The present study focuses on microbial histamine degradation from high salted fermented fishery products to deepen our understanding about this new and growing field of research. As a result of this first study related to salted-ripened anchovies (Engraulis anchoita), fifty seven moderate and extreme halophilic microbial isolates from salt and salted-ripened anchovy processes were characterized in terms of their phenotype and histamine-degrading capacity.
