We present an injection-seeding -switched 1645 nm Er:YAG ceramic laser with high frequency stability and energy stability by combining the injection-seeding technique and Pound-Drever-Hall technique. 10.31 mJ single-frequency pulses with optimal frequency stability (525 kHz) and relative energy stability (0.52%) at a high pulse repetition rate of 1 kHz are obtained. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest frequency stability and energy stability so far in a high pulse repetition frequency, large pulse energy, single-frequency -switched Er-doped solid laser. This single frequency laser with high stability provides an excellent light source for a coherent lidar system.

To date, III-V semiconductor-based tandem devices with GaInP top photoabsorbers show the highest solar-to-electricity or solar-to-fuel conversion efficiencies. In photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells, however, III-V semiconductors are sensitive, in terms of photochemical stability and, therefore, require suitable functional layers for electronic and chemical passivation. GaN films are discussed as promising options for this purpose.

Architecting Prussian blue analogue (PBA) cathodes with optimized synergistic bimetallic reaction centers is a paradigmatic strategy for devising high-energy sodium-ion batteries (SIBs); however, these cathodes usually suffer from fast capacity fading and sluggish reaction kinetics. To alleviate the above problems, herein, a series of early transition metal (ETM)-late transition metal (LTM)-based PBA (Fe-VO, Fe-TiO, Fe-ZrO, Co-VO, and Fe-Co-VO) cathode materials have been conveniently fabricated via an "acid-assisted synthesis" strategy. As a paradigm, the FeVO-PBA (FV) delivers a superb rate capability (148.

Effective management of bony and cartilaginous thoracic injury is a vital part of the care of the polytraumatized patient. Commonly because of high-energy accidents including motor vehicle collisions and falls, these patients routinely require multidisciplinary care and surgical intervention. As our understanding of unstable chest wall injuries and pulmonary sequelae of the injury grows, it is imperative that injury patterns and surgical approaches become familiar to the orthopaedic trauma-trained surgeon.

Process intensification and simplification in biopharmaceutical manufacturing have driven the exploration of advanced feeding strategies to improve culture performance and process consistency. Conventional media design strategies, however, are often constrained by the stability and solubility challenges of amino acids, particularly in large-scale applications. As a result, dipeptides have emerged as promising alternatives.

To enhance the application performance of graphdiyne (GDY) in electrochemical sensing, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were grown in situ to construct three-dimensional nanoarchitectures of GDY-CNTs composites. GDY-CNTs showed superior electrochemical properties and detection response to MP when compared with GDY, as the in situ growth of CNTs significantly increased the electrode surface area and enhanced the electron transfer process. GDY-CNTs were successfully used to construct electrochemical sensors for methyl parathion (MP).
