Background: Invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) is a life-threatening disease, primarily affecting infants and children. Argentina introduced routine meningococcal vaccination in infants and adolescents in 2017, with MenACWY vaccination targeting serogroups A, C, W, and Y (current National Immunization Program [cNIP]). Background Surgical site infections (SSIs) are among the most common healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), leading to significant morbidity, mortality, and increased healthcare costs. Despite the existence of international guidelines, adherence to best practices remains inconsistent, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Objective The objectives of this study are to evaluate compliance with SSI prevention guidelines among medical professionals at Kasr El Ainy Teaching Hospital in Cairo, Egypt, identify gaps in practice and knowledge, and implement targeted interventions to improve outcomes.

Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) can significantly disrupt autonomic nervous system (ANS) regulation, increasing the risk for secondary complications, hemodynamic instability, and adverse outcome. This retrospective study evaluated windowed time-lagged cross-correlation (WTLCC) matrices for describing cerebral hemodynamics-ANS interactions to predict outcome, enabling identifying high-risk patients who may benefit from enhanced monitoring to prevent complications.
Methods: The first experiment aimed to predict short-term outcome using WTLCC-based convolution neural network models on the Wroclaw University Hospital (WUH) database (P = 31 with 1,079 matrices, P = 16 with 573 matrices).

Introduction: Despite the importance of the transition to fatherhood as a critical life stage among young adult men, much remains unknown about the factors predictive of ideal cardiovascular health (CVH) and how CVH is impacted as young men face new roles and responsibilities associated with fatherhood.
Methods And Analysis: To address this gap, the Dad Bod Study is a prospective, longitudinal and observational study designed to examine how fatherhood affects young men's CVH. A total of 125, first-time prospective fathers (men, 19-39 years) will be enrolled and followed over 1.
