The nephrotic syndrome developed in a patient with mycosis fungoides shortly after systemic involvement by his tumor occurred. Renal biopsy examination revealed atypical lymphocytic interstitial infiltration and changes consistent with minimal change glomerulonephropathy. The patient's proteinuria decreased following steroid therapy. This is the first report of an association between minimal change glomerulonephropathy and a proven T-cell malignant lymphoma. The implications are discussed with reference to the literature.

Reports of glomerulonephritis associated with lymphoproliferative disorders are common, but reports of minimal change disease (MCD) accompanying non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are rare. Here, we present a case of a 45-year-old woman diagnosed with primary Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM) during MCD treatment. Objective: To investigate the impact of dexamethasone on the antibiotic susceptibility of common ocular pathogens in dogs and identify safe antibiotic-steroid combinations for veterinary ophthalmology.
Methods: This study utilized 30 bacterial isolates of Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Streptococcus canis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, collected from canine patients with suspected bacterial keratitis. The isolates were tested against 17 antibiotics in the presence of dexamethasone concentrations ranging from 0 to 2 mg/mL.

Exercise intolerance, chronic cough, and hyperpnea are the clinical hallmarks of equine asthma. Diagnosis of severe equine asthma in horses is multistep; determination of the phenotype will help guide future recommendations. Management of equine asthma is largely reduction/elimination of triggering agents/conditions.

This retrospective study evaluates the clinical impact of perioperative multimodal analgesia in the minimally invasive treatment of severe blunt chest trauma with hemopneumothorax using a thoracoscopic Ni-Ti shape memory embracing plate. A total of 100 patients with severe blunt chest trauma and moderate to severe hemopneumothorax treated at Hanyang Hospital affiliated with Wuhan University of Science and Technology from January 2019 to January 2022 were enrolled. Patients were divided into 2 groups: a control group (50 patients) receiving patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA), and a study group (50 patients) administered a multimodal analgesia regimen.
