Objective: Aim: The aim of this article is to present and discuss the conclusions of a fi nalized pilot project implementing telemedical solutions for COPD management within the senior population in Wrocław and the Lower Silesian Voivodeship during 2022-2023. It also aimed to contribute to the development of innovative strategies to improve care for individuals with COPD through the use of telemedical technologies.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: An interdisciplinary and comprehensive pilot project in pulmonology was applied, dividing it into health, organizational, and tech-nological areas.

Mobile health technologies enable continuous, quantitative assessment of mobility and gait in real-world environments, facilitating early diagnoses of gait disorders, disease progression monitoring, and prediction of adverse events like falls. Traditionally, mobile gait assessment predominantly relied on body-fixed sensors positioned at the feet or lower trunk. Here, we investigate the potential of an algorithm utilizing an ear-worn motion sensor for spatiotemporal segmentation of gait patterns.
