The structure of multi-domain micromagnetic states in hcp cobalt nanoparticles of spheroidal shape has been studied using numerical simulation in the range of diameters 20-200 nm. The single-domain diameters of the particles are determined depending on their aspect ratio. The complicated vortex structure of domain walls for two- and three-domain micromagnetic configurations is investigated. It has been shown that three domain states are actually strongly deformed two vortex states. In hcp cobalt particles of sufficiently large sizes two types of three-domain micromagnetic states with close total energies have been obtained. They differ in different magnetization directions of the exchange cores of the vortex domain walls. The remanent magnetization of particles has been calculated for two- and three-domain micromagnetic states. The single-domain diameters of fcc cobalt nanoparticles with cubic type of magnetic anisotropy were also calculated.

Skyrmion bags, with arbitrary topological charge Q, have recently attracted much interest, since such high-Q topological systems could open a way for topological magnetism research and are promising for spintronic applications with high flexibility for information encoding. Investigation on room-temperature skyrmion bags in magnetic multilayered structures is essential for applications and remains unexplored so far. Here, we demonstrate room-temperature creation and manipulation of individual skyrmion bags in magnetic multilayered disks.

We report deterministic operations on single dipolar skyrmions confined in nanostructured cuboids by using in-plane currents. We achieve highly reversible writing and deleting of skyrmions in a simple cuboid without any artificial defects or pinning sites. The current-induced creation of skyrmions is well-understood through the spin-transfer torque acting on surface spin twists of the spontaneous 3D ferromagnetic state, caused by the magnetic dipole-dipole interaction of the uniaxial FeSn magnet with a low-quality factor.

Chiral noncollinear magnetic nanostructures, such as skyrmions, are intriguing spin configurations with significant potential for magnetic memory technologies. However, the limited availability of 2D magnetic materials that host skyrmions with Curie temperatures above room temperature presents a major challenge for practical implementation. Chromium tellurides exhibit diverse spin configurations and remarkable stability under ambient conditions, making them a promising platform for fundamental spin physics research and the development of innovative 2D spintronic devices.

This study demonstrates the controllable switching of skyrmion helicity using spin-orbit torque, enhanced by thermal effects. Electric current pulses applied to a [Pt/Co]/Ru/[Co/Pt] multilayer stripe drive skyrmions in a direction opposite to the current flow. Continuous pulsing results in an unexpected reversal of skyrmion motion.

Curvilinear magnetism emerged as a new route to tailor properties of magnetic solitons by the choice of geometry and topology of a magnetic architecture. Here, we develop an anodized aluminum oxide template-based approach to realize hierarchical 3D magnetic nanoarchitectures of nanoflower shape. The technique provides defect-free regular arrays of magnetic nanoflowers of tunable shape with a period of 400 nm over cm areas.
