Health Smart Homes are a promising part of digital personalized health care. However, engineering of the underlying residential assistance systems is a complex process that needs to be supported by computer-based design tools. This paper presents a formal definition for the engineering task and proposes a methodology for model-driven design process automation, that is implemented in a web-based pilot application. Using this approach for design support, the challenge to efficiently compose personalized assistance systems for patients can be coped with in the future, which reduces a major barrier for smart home assistance applications.

The complicated neurological syndrome known as multiple sclerosis (MS) is typified by demyelination, inflammation, and neurodegeneration in the central nervous system (CNS). Managing this crippling illness requires an understanding of the complex interactions between neurophysiological systems, diagnostic techniques, and therapeutic methods. A complex series of processes, including immunological dysregulation, inflammation, and neurodegeneration, are involved in the pathogenesis of MS.

Background: Despite the high acuity of coronary care unit (CCU) patients and their risk of deterioration, little is known about how nurses assess them.
Aim: Increase understanding of the scope of nurses' assessments of deteriorating CCU patients.
Design: Online mixed methods survey.

Defatting dehulled hemp seeds is a crucial step prior to protein extraction. However, conventional methods rely on flammable solvents, posing significant health, safety, and environmental concerns. Additionally, hemp protein has poor extractability, challenging functionality, and flavor limitations, restricting its broader application in foods.

Background: Food image recognition, a crucial step in computational gastronomy, has diverse applications across nutritional platforms. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are widely used for this task due to their ability to capture hierarchical features. However, they struggle with long-range dependencies and global feature extraction, which are vital in distinguishing visually similar foods or images where the context of the whole dish is crucial, thus necessitating transformer architecture.
