Carbon monoxide (CO) is known primarily as a globally emitted by-product of incomplete combustion from the industry and biomass burning. However, CO is also produced in living plants and acts as a stress-signalling molecule in animals and plants. While CO emissions from soil and litter decomposition have been studied, research on the CO flux from living vegetation is scarce, particularly under field conditions.

Introduction: Totally implantable venous access devices (TIVADs) or ports are increasingly used in oncology settings to provide long-term, easy venous access. This study reports our experience and results with 1180 cases in Singapore.
Method: Data from January 2019 to January 2022, obtained from a hospital-approved secure database application called the Research Electronic Data Capture registry, were reviewed and analysed retrospectively.
Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy, safety, and stability of EyeCryl Phakic intraocular lens (IOL) implantation.
Methodology: This retrospective study was conducted in Maghrabi Hospital in Medina to review 31 patients who underwent posterior chamber phakic IOL (EyeCryl Phakic IOL) for surgical correction of myopia or astigmatism. The data were collected from patient medical records after obtaining their consents.

Simultaneous complete oculomotor nerve palsy in herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO) is rare. We report a case of a 65-year-old lady who presented with a right drooping eyelid for 2 days associated with rashes over her right forehead. Examination showed crusted vesicular lesions on the right V1 dermatome with right complete ptosis, anisocoria, and limited right extraocular movement on all gazes except full movement on abduction.
