Background: Early rapid sequence induction of anaesthesia (RSI) and tracheal intubation for patients with airway or ventilatory compromise following major trauma is recommended, with guidance suggesting a 45-min timeframe. Purpose: For next of kin (NK) to people with epilepsy (PWE) insufficient knowledge about the disease might have a negative impact on disease management, utilization of the health care system and conveyance of attitudes in the society.
