The current changes to the treatment recommendations and the diagnostic categorization of trans* identities in the ICD-11 require a new consideration of past therapeutic methods and approaches. The depathologization of trans* lives in the ICD-11 finally enables trans* people to access psychotherapeutic services more freely, as the compulsory therapy that has thus far been required for access to transition-related treatments, as well as the so-called "diagnosis" and "treatment" of "transsexuality", have been removed. Trans* people will nevertheless be interested in qualified psychotherapeutic treatment options.

We aimed to understand the perspective and use of HIV prevention methods in context of the sexual practices of adolescent gay and bisexual men, travestis, and transgender women (TGW). In-depth interviews and focus group discussions were conducted with 22 adolescent gay and bisexual men, travestis, and TGW aged between 15 and 19 years in São Paulo, Brazil, as part of the formative research of the PrEP1519 study, an ongoing daily oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) demonstration study among adolescents. Participants' knowledge repertoire about prevention methods and their experience with them concentrated on condoms, which were regarded as the most well-known, "compulsory" practice, whose use was an individual responsibility.

'Bending' against straightening devices: queer lived experiences of sexuality and sexual health in Bangladesh.

Background: Despite global data around increased health risks among sexual and gender diverse populations, lived experiences of young lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and others (LGBTQ+) people are often ignored in mainstream health research. This is particularly evident in countries such as Bangladesh where the rights of sexual minorities are not recognised. This article looks at queer lived experiences of sexuality and sexual health within such a context.

School climate is one of the main concerns in terms of research and intervention worldwide. Although it can be directed toward any student, some groups seem to be more vulnerable, as is the case of the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex +) students, among others. Attitudes toward violence are a construct of particular importance for action plans focused on improving school coexistence.

Objectives: Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) adolescents have specific health care needs and are susceptible to health care disparities. Lack of skills and knowledge on the part of health care providers have a negative effect on their access to care and health outcomes. This study 1) explores the knowledge and attitudes of medical students regarding LGBT people, and 2) assesses the impact of a one-hour lecture targeting adolescent LGBT health needs.
