Background: Healthcare professionals play an important role in successfully implementing digital interventions in routine mental healthcare settings. While a larger body of research has focused on the experiences of mental healthcare professionals with the combination of digital interventions and face-to-face outpatient treatment, comparatively little is known about their experiences with digital interventions combined with inpatient treatment. This is especially true for acute psychiatric inpatient care, where studies on the implementation of digital interventions are more rare.

By analyzing facial features to perform expression recognition and health monitoring, facial perception plays a pivotal role in noninvasive, real-time disease diagnosis and prevention. Current perception routes are limited by structural complexity and the necessity of a power supply, making timely and accurate monitoring difficult. Herein, a self-powered poly(vinyl alcohol)-gellan gum-glycerol thermogalvanic gel patch enabling facial perception is developed for monitoring emotions and atypical pathological states.

Background And Aim: Young women diagnosed with breast cancer (BC) face considerable psychological and emotional distress, impacting their interactions with themselves, their families, and the wider community. This study sought to explore the interaction patterns of young Omani BC survivors following their diagnosis and during treatment.
Materials And Methods: Semi-structured individual interviews were conducted with 11 Omani women diagnosed with BC, recruited from the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre in Muscat, Oman.
