Published: January 2022

Two new triterpenoid-chromone hybrids, cimitriteromones H () and I (), along with two known analogues (, ) were isolated from the phytochemical research on the butyl alcohol extracts of rhizomes. The new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic experiments and chemical method. The cytotoxic activities of the isolated compounds were tested on A-549/Taxol cell line. Cimitriteromone I () showed cytotoxicity with IC value of 27.14 ± 1.38 M comparable to positive control group cisplatin (IC value of 25.80 ± 1.15 M).
