Here we use triple-cation metal-organic halide perovskite single crystals for the transistor channel of a flash memory device. Moreover, we design and demonstrate a 10 nm thick single-layer nanofloating gate. It consists of a ternary blend of two organic semiconductors, a p-type polyfluorene and an n-type fullerene that form a donor:acceptor interpenetrating network that serves as the charge storage unit, and of an insulating polystyrene that acts as the tunneling dielectric. Under such a framework, we realize the first non-volatile flash memory transistor based on a perovskite channel. This simplified, solution-processed perovskite flash memory displays unique performance metrics such as a large memory window of 30 V, an on/off ratio of 9 × 10, short write/erase times of 50 ms, and a satisfactory retention time exceeding 10 s. The realization of the first flash memory transistor using a single-crystal perovskite channel could be a valuable direction for perovskite electronics research.

We present a fully automated cryogenic sample insertion and ejection system for use with low-temperature EPR probes. We show how the system can be implemented on a conventional EPR spectrometer and that ejection and insertion is reliably possible at temperatures down to 10 K. Furthermore, we investigate the glass properties of a 0.

Items held in visual working memory (VWM) influence early visual processing by enhancing memory-matching visual input. Depending on current task demands, memory items can have different priority states. Here, we investigated how the priority state of items in VWM affects two key aspects of early visual processing: access to visual awareness and attention allocation.

We propose a new bootloader design with dynamic boot addressing to increase the endurance of microcontroller flash memories and to use flash memory efficiently. Although the final industrial products are not updated much, regular programming during the development and testing phase inefficiently reduces the endurance of flash memory. Especially after the pandemic, the problems experienced in the production/supply processes of products using semiconductor technology and the highly extended deadlines have inspired our work to extend the life of the products used in the development and testing phase.

Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge, 27 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0FS UK.

This prospective and performance summary provides a view on the state of the art of emerging non-volatile memory (eNVM) in the semiconductor industry. The overarching aim is to inform academic researchers of the status of these technologies in industry, so as to help direct the right academic research questions for future materials and device development. eNVM already have a strong foothold in the semiconductor industry with the main target of replacing embedded flash memory, and soon possibly DRAM and SRAM, i.

Introduction: Alzheimer's disease (AD) prevalence and severity are associated with increased age, female sex, and apolipoprotein E4 (APOE4) genotype. Although estrogen therapy (ET) effectively reduces symptoms of menopause including hot flashes and anxiety, and can reduce dementia risk, it is associated with increased risks of breast and uterine cancer due to estrogen receptor alpha (ERα)-mediated increases in cancer cell proliferation. Because ERβ activation reduces this cell proliferation, selective targeting of ERβ may provide a safer method of improving memory and reducing hot flashes in menopausal women, including those with AD.
