Background: Phaeohyphomycosis is a very rare fungal infection, which is one of more usual complications in immunocompromised and/or traumatic patients, has never been reported especially in a cytological field. We describe a first case of subcutaneous phaeohyphomycosis caused by Exophiala xenobiotica (E. xenobiotica) in a poorly controlled diabetic patient, and in which a correct cytological diagnosis of phaeohyphomycosis was possible to conclude.

Bronchopulmonary sequestration is an uncommon abnormality of the respiratory system that often manifests as recurrent pneumonia in childhood or as an incidental discovery on thoracic imaging in adults. Introduction: Sleep deprivation (SD) significantly disrupts the homeostasis of the cardiac-brain axis, yet the neuromodulation effects of deep magnetic stimulation (DMS), a non-invasive and safe method, remain poorly understood.
Methods: Sixty healthy adult males were recruited for a 36-h SD study, they were assigned to the DMS group or the control group according to their individual willing. All individuals underwent heart sound measurements and functional magnetic resonance imaging scans at the experiment's onset and terminal points.

Background: Patients with a high risk of bleeding undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI-HBR) were provided consensus-based criteria by the Academic Research Consortium for High Bleeding Risk (ARC-HBR). However, the prognostic predictors in this group of patients have yet to be fully explored. Thus, an effective prognostic prediction model for PCI-HBR patients is required.
