This research aims to explore the existence of a new concept known as "environmental Phillips curve" (EPC) developed by the authors. Taking annual data of 30 countries for 26 years, a panel data estimation method is applied. The invented function shows an inverse relationship between pollution and unemployment. In most of the cases, the industrialized countries show that the relationship is valid. The notion is proved effective in every format of investigation. It seems that curbing pollution in the world is only possible at the cost of human employment. Therefore, if countries want to curb environmental pollution without affecting the generation of employment and reducing poverty, they should contemplate both innovation and enforcement alternative technologies that would be less polluting but employment friendly. Moreover, this research also suggests that if a country can treat pollution efficiently, it can increase the national income without a deteriorating unemployment level.

During early life, we develop the ability to choose what we focus on and what we ignore, allowing us to regulate perception and action in complex environments. But how does this change influence how we spontaneously allocate attention to real-world objects during free behaviour? Here, in this narrative review, we examine this question by considering the time dynamics of spontaneous overt visual attention, and how these develop through early life. Even in early childhood, visual attention shifts occur both periodically and aperiodically.

Knowledge of the spatial distribution of many polar seabird species is incomplete due to the remoteness of their breeding locations. Here, we compiled a new database of published and unpublished records of all known snow petrel breeding sites. We quantified local environmental conditions at sites by appending indices of climate and substrate, and regional-scale conditions by appending 30 year mean (1992-2021) sea-ice conditions within accessible foraging areas.

Tourism wildlife interactions are controversial, the debate hinging largely on the compromised welfare of the animals used. Despite this, lion cub () interactions are popular, and there is a need to understand what motivates interactors to participate in the activity, their perceptions and expectations. We surveyed the attitudes of 300 visitors to three lion cub interaction facilities in South Africa.

Promoting green growth and decarbonizing economies to achieve sustainable economic development has become critically important globally. This study calculated the energy-induced carbon emissions and green total factor productivity (GTFP) for the organized manufacturing sector in India utilizing factory-level Annual Survey of Industry datasets. The GTFP has been calculated utilizing the Global Malmquist-Luenberger index methodology at both the aggregate and industry levels.

Each year, millions of animals enter animal shelters across the United States and are met with a variety of potential stressors that can negatively impact their experience, including noise, confinement, and social isolation. Foster care, a unique form of human-animal interaction, is increasingly understood to be an effective tool for improving welfare by allowing animals to escape the stressors of the shelter, providing an environment that allows for greater social interaction, and offering opportunities for improved health and behavior. This review includes 42 published articles, reports, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations that have previously evaluated companion animal foster care programs.
