: To describe clinical manifestations of patients with tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis syndrome (TINU) with a focus on posterior segment findings.: Retrospective chart review.: 17 patients were diagnosed with TINU. Ten (59%) were female. Average age at presentation was 19 years (range 7-49). Urine β2-microglobulin was elevated in all tested patients. Six patients (35%) had isolated anterior uveitis. Eleven (65%) had posterior segment findings. Three (18%) had multifocal choroidal lesions, seven (41%) had disc edema, four (24%) had macular edema, three (18%) had choroidal neovascular membranes, two (12%) had retinal vasculitis, one (6%) had disc neovascularization and vitreous hemorrhage, one (6%) had bilateral posterior scleritis. Eleven (65%) required systemic steroid therapy, seven (41%) required immunomodulatory therapy.: TINU occurs in all age groups. Posterior segment manifestations are common. Most patients required systemic steroid therapy, with a significant number requiring long-term systemic immunomodulation. Careful fundus examination is required on all patients with TINU.

Purpose: To compare outcomes of LLR in VI/VII of the liver in Left-lateral Decubitus Jackknife Position (LDJP) and traditional Supine Position (SP). We used propensity score matching (PSM) to analyze clinical outcomes.
Patients & Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed patients undergoing LLR for liver tumors in segments VI and/or VII at Shandong Provincial Hospital from 2018 to 2023.

The research aims to investigate the mechanical response of footfalls at different velocities to understand the mechanism of heel injury and provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of heel fractures. A three-dimensional solid model of foot drop was constructed using anatomical structures segmented from medical CT scans, including bone, cartilage, ligaments, plantar fascia, and soft tissues, and the impact velocities of the foot were set to be 2 m/s, 4 m/s, 6 m/s, 8 m/s, and 10 m/s. Explicit kinetic analysis methods were used to investigate the mechanical response of the foot landing with different speeds to explore the damage mechanism of heel bone at different impact velocities.

Purpose: To summarize and categorize postulated mechanisms of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-mediated retinal and choroidal inflammation and discuss resulting implications for evaluation and management of these adverse reactions.
Design: Targeted literature review with interpretation and perspective Methods: We performed a review of selected literature describing immune-mediated retinal and choroidal adverse reactions associated with ICI therapy, synthesizing and categorizing the likely underlying pathogenic mechanisms. Based on these mechanistic categories, we provide perspective on a rational approach to the evaluation of patients with ICI-associated inflammatory disorders of the retina and choroid.

Purpose And Background: The trigeminal artery is a rare anatomical variant, representing an embryonic vestige of the anastomosis between the internal carotid artery and the posterior circulator system, that can be asymptomatic or could have vast clinical manifestations produced by insufficient flow or by vascular nervous conflicts. This study is an anatomical presentation of 3 trigeminal artery cases observed at Medimar Imagistic Services Constanta.
Methods: The 3 trigeminal artery cases were discovered on a 860 magnetic resonance angiographies (0.
