We present lists of asteroid photometry opportunities for objects reaching a favorable apparition and have no or poorly-defined lightcurve parameters. Additional data on these objects will help with shape and spin axis modeling via lightcurve inversion. We also include lists of objects that will be the target of radar observations. Lightcurves for these objects can help constrain pole solutions and/or remove rotation period ambiguities that might not come from using radar data alone.

Recently, mass spectrometers based on MALDI-TOF MS, which can rapidly identify microorganisms, have become widely used, contributing to the proper use of antimicrobial agents and diagnosis of infectious diseases through rapid reporting of bacterial species. We had the opportunity to evaluate the performance of the I-dOne, a microorganism identification system using the ATR-FTIR method. A total of 174 strains, 78 of 11 Grampositive bacteria and 96 of 12 Gram-negative bacteria, registered in the I-dOne database were used.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been recognised as potential biomarkers due to their specific expression patterns in different biological tissues and their changes in expression under pathological conditions. MicroRNA-122 (miR-122) is a vertebrate-specific miRNA that is predominantly expressed in the liver and plays an important role in liver metabolism and development. Dysregulation of miR-122 expression is associated with several liver-related diseases, including hepatocellular carcinoma and drug-induced liver injury (DILI).

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) are known for several features which make them one of the nanoparticles with great potential for application in different areas such as biosensors development and carrier molecules. However, there are few reports in the literature describing the coupling analysis of cellulose nanocrystals with biomolecules, and the existing ones are laborious, still needing a large laboratory structure. In this paper, we describe the non-covalent coupling of Bovine Serum Albumin protein (BSA) to CNCs using Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) as a reporter molecule.
