Primary hyperparathyroidism is the main cause of hypercalcemia, resulting predominantly from parathyroid adenomas followed by hyperplasia. Diagnosis relies on clinical and biochemical parameters. Accurate pre-operative localization is mandatory for better surgical outcome.

Objective: To describe agreement in detection of joint swelling as the mandatory key of the diagnostic algorithm used in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This was done by comparing clinical examinations, ultrasonography (US), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and patient self-evaluation of the joints in the wrist and fingers (metacarpophalangeal joints (MCP) and proximal interphalangeal joints (PIP)) in an early untreated RA cohort.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can cause anxiety for children and general anesthesia (GA) is often used. Objective: To review the published cases of meningioma en plaque of the temporal bone (TB-MEP), to gather evidence on the clinical assessment and management of this rare entity.
Methods: Following PRISMA statement recommendations, 383 abstracts were screened independently by two authors. Inclusion criteria were articles of human patients affected by TB-MEP; English or Italian language; availability of the abstract articles unrelated to TB-MEP, guidelines and systematic reviews were excluded.

Objective: To investigate the spectrum of neurological disorders in children with juvenile localized scleroderma (JLS) on face and JLS without plaques on face and head.
Materials And Methods: 156 children with JLS were examined were with a neurological examination MRI, EEG, genetic thrombophilia markers detection.
Results: Neurological disorders (ND) were found in 56 from 114 (49%) of the patients with scleroderma of head and face (LSH)(group1) and in 30% (13 from 42) with JLS without plaques on face (Group 2).
