Background: During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic, the fever clinic is an important link for screening and diagnosing whether a patient is infected with the novel coronavirus. Blood collection from children's fingertips is a commonly used detection method; however, in children, the blood collection process may cause discomfort and resistance. To address this problem, the use of heating gloves combined with hand swinging can be considered for fingertip blood collection in children.

Background: Whether combined CsA with androgen therapy was superior to androgen therapy alone in NSAA remains controversial. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of combined therapy versus androgen therapy for NSAA patients using a meta-analytic approach.
Methods: An electronic database of PubMed, EmBase, Cochrane library, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang was systematically searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) from their inception to February 2020.

Circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) regulate signaling pathways via receptor-ligand interactions and content delivery, after attachment or internalization by endothelial cells. However, they originate from diverse cell populations and are heterogeneous in composition. To determine the effects of specific surface molecules, the use of synthetic EV mimetics permits the study of specific EV receptor-ligand interactions.

Activation of the ligand binding function of integrin heterodimers requires transmission of an "inside-out" signal from their small intracellular segments to their large extracellular domains. The structure of the cytoplasmic domain of a prototypic integrin alpha(IIb)beta(3) has been solved by NMR and reveals multiple hydrophobic and electrostatic contacts within the membrane-proximal helices of its alpha and the beta cytoplasmic tails. The interface interactions are disrupted by point mutations or the cytoskeletal protein talin that are known to activate the receptor.
