In today's fast-paced work environment, work engagement is crucial for both organizational success and individual well-being. Our aim is this study was to analyze the associated factors of work engagement, work overload, work satisfaction, and emotional exhaustion and describe their effect on nurses and physicians in the Central Catalonia Health Region during 2023. A multicenter cross-sectional study was conducted using an online questionnaire at the Territorial Management of Central Catalonia (Spain).

Background: Multidisciplinary programs are the first recommendation for non-specific chronic low-back pain, but implementing this type of program is complicated to get up and running. The primary aim of this study was to assess the feasibility and appropriateness of the PAINDOC multidisciplinary program for subjects with chronic low-back pain. The secondary objectives were to evaluate the decrease in pain intensity, pain-related disability and pain catastrophizing, as well as the improvement in quality of life with this program.

Here, we aimed to comprehensively discuss walking in the context of an aging population; and identify and agree on a list of future research priorities and policy actions.

Increasing evidence supports the presence of oxytocin deficiency (OXT-D) in patients with hypopituitarism and hypothalamic damage (HHD), that might be associated with neuropsychological deficits and sexual dysfunction, leading to worse quality of life (QoL). Therefore, identifying a provocative test to diagnose an OXT-D will be important. Corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) is a candidate for such a test as it increases oxytocin secretion in animal models.

Background: The efficacy of trifluridine/tipiracil (FTD/TPI) + bevacizumab compared to FTD/TPI for treatment of refractory metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) was demonstrated in the SUNLIGHT trial. This analysis of SUNLIGHT investigated the impact of treatment with FTD/TPI + bevacizumab on patient quality of life (QoL) and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (ECOG PS).
Methods: Questionnaires (EORTC QLQ-C30 and EQ-5D-5L) and ECOG PS assessments were conducted at baseline and on Day 1 of each treatment cycle.
