Background: A cardiac lipoma is a rare primary cardiac tumor. They are usually asymptomatic and carry a good prognosis. Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR) is the confirmatory investigation of choice.
Case Presentation: We present a case of left ventricular lipoma in an asymptomatic patient, which was successfully treated with surgical resection.
Conclusion: Cardiac lipomas are rare and are usually benign. There is no guideline on the management of cardiac lipomas and treatment is individualized.

Cardiac tumors are a rare entity with typically unspecific symptoms. We present the case of a 43-year old female patient with epigastric pain and palpitations with a long history of diagnostics prior to discovery of an epicardial mass. The epicardial tumor with arterial vascularization from the left anterior descending artery was resected in a beating heart procedure and was found to be a lipomatous soft tissue tumor.

We report the noninvasive imaging diagnosis of a massive right atrial lipoma in a young male patient. Echocardiography and myocardial contrast echocardiography were used to assess echo intensity, tumor size, anatomic boundary, hemodynamics, and contrast agent perfusion.
