86% of 1703 subjects with primary malignant bronchopulmonary tumours treated over a period of 5 years responded solely to symptomatic management. Attention is drawn to the poor results offered by polychemotherapy and to satisfactory treatment of 82 patients with 6-methylprednisolone acetate. This drug was chosen on account of its ease of administration and fewer side-effects by comparison with cortisones given per os.

Cystic cuboid adenomatous malformations (CCAM) are congenital pulmonary lesions, usually benign, that can progress into malignancy. Bronchopulmonary sequestration (BPS) is another type of malformation that consistsof an ectopic pulmonary tissue mass that doesn't participate in blood-gas exchanges, with vascularization provided by anomalous branches of the thoracic aorta. Hybrid lesions are lesions that have histological features of CCAM but with systemic vascularization, a pathognomonic sign of BPS.

As the effects of electronic cigarettes (ECs) have rapidly become widely known, we propose to take stock of recent findings on the bronchopulmonary and cardiovascular adverse effects (AEs) and the risks of cancer occurrence entailed by EC use. METHOD: We carried out a search from 2018 to October 19, 2023 on PubMed, adopting the PRISMA guidelines (2020) with the following keywords in "Titles and abstracts": electronic cigarette, or e-cigarette, or ENDS, AND safety or toxicology or effect or health effect, using "Systematic Review" as a filter. The inclusion criteria were: systematic review of in vitro or in vivo studies in English or French dealing with the risks of ECs for the bronchopulmonary system, the cardiovascular system, or cancer occurrence.

Background: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), although rare, are considered one of the most common gastrointestinal and bronchopulmonary pediatric neoplasms. We aimed to determine the incidence, tumor characteristics, management, and outcome of NETs and explore the role of genetic predisposition, focusing on low and intermediate grade tumors.

Methods: Using the Danish National Pathology Registry, we conducted a nationwide retrospective study including all Danish children aged ≤18 years diagnosed with a pathology-proven NET between 1995 and 2020.
