A deaf-and-dumb patient died at the age of ten of failure of the kidneys. An uncle of the boy died at the age of 42, an aunt at the age of 16 years, both of atrophic kidneys. The mother of the proband is suffering from hard hearing on one side and recurrent episodes of pyuria. Repeated examinations in two aunts revealed slight pyuria resp. erythruria. Contrary to most reports affected members of the family showed pyuria rather than haematuria. A special inheritance could not be proved.

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare cutaneous mesenchymal locally aggressive sarcoma with high recurrence. We report a case of recurrent vulvar DFSP, and a literature review was performed with a PubMed search using the terms "Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans" and "vulva." Total 85 cases with vulvar DFSP were analyzed for their clinicopathological features among fibrosarcomatous DFSP (FS-DFSP) and non-FS-DFSP.

Importance: Optimal adjuvant treatment for patients with intermediate-risk cervical cancer remains controversial, and the benefit of adding chemotherapy to radiotherapy in this population is uncertain.
Objective: To evaluate whether adjuvant chemoradiotherapy is associated with improved overall survival compared with radiotherapy alone in patients with intermediate-risk cervical cancer. Secondary objectives included identifying clinical factors associated with the use of chemoradiotherapy.

Cerebellar dysfunction in patients with epilepsy can result from genetic disorders, antiseizure medications, seizures, and seizure-related trauma. Impaired cerebellar function, regardless of cause, can cause ataxia (imbalance, impaired coordination, unsteady gait), tremor, gaze-evoked nystagmus, impaired slow gaze pursuit and saccade accuracy, as well as speech deficits (slurred, scanning, or staccato).
